Building surveys for the Lawrence Downtown Historic Building Survey
This collection consists of survey forms which contain a history and architectural decription for each of 229 historic buildings in downtown Lawrence, Kansas. The survey content was compiled in 1993 by Deon Wolfenbarger (Three Gables Preservation) for the Lawrence Downtown Historic Building Survey, a project for which she was commissioned by the City of Lawrence and the Lawrence Historic Resources Commission.

Letter of transmittal from C. J. Collins, General Passenger Traffic Manager for the Union Pacific Railroad, regarding the gift of a pictorial map of the Pony Express route from the early 1860s between St. Joseph, Missouri and Sacramento, California. Two hundred sixty-three photographs, some printed as postcards, and 89 negatives of Camp Funston, Fort Riley, Kansas, during World War I when Camp Funston was used as a training facility. Joseph Pennell is noted as the photographer for some, though not all, of the photographs. The photographs and negatives portray structures and buildings on Camp Funston grounds, as well as soldiers and officers stationed there.
